ICDL CERTIFICATION DELIVERED TO TEACHERS AT MEXICAN UNIVERSITY IN 2015 TRAINING PROGRAMME

Professors from Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) in Mexico successfully completed ICDL certification, with their achievement recognised at an event led by Rector Etienne Pérez del Río. Over 300 teachers from the UAT received digital skills certificates, including ICDL certificates. The objective of the training programme at the university is to help teachers to be able to teach in online education platforms, and teach educational models based on digital skills.

The Rector said, “I want to congratulate all of you on this significant effort in demonstrating your responsibility and honesty by possessing tools that will help students in their learning environment.”

“That responsibility that you possess by getting trained in digital skills in order for your students to learn better, is a value that must be transmitted to them” he added.

The ceremony was also attended by the Director of Academic Development, Helena Montemayor Rodríguez; and the Director of Distance Education, Arturo Amaya Amaya, who explained each of the skills and certifications delivered.
