Cybersecurity is increasingly important to more and more people. The risks and dangers online can affect anyone, anywhere. European Cyber Security Month is an initiative of the European Commission to raise awareness of the need to stay safe online. It brings together different departments of the Commission and is supported by a range of stakeholders each year in October.
Starting in 2012, European Cyber Security Month is coordinated by ENISA, the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security.
