The Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE) mission is “to contribute to the transformation of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in order to respond to their social and political contexts, while building and creating common spaces of Inter-American collaboration”. Since its creation over 40 years ago, the IOHE has become a reference in the academic community of the Americas as a true academic network, offering quality services to its members. Its efforts today focus on implementing internationalization strategies through the management of a wide variety of international events, missions and professional development programs to provide new opportunities for its member institutions.
The digital inclusion strategy will be part of the training of managers and teachers of our member universities. We consider ICDL as an essential and key pillar for the development of educational innovation strategies, closing the digitalization gap and achieving a well-directed and structured academic digital inclusion in managers, teachers, researchers, staff and students.
